Students will already have a basic understanding of how computers work. In this course, students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to effectively install, configure, use, and manage Linux, a Unix-like operating system. Students learn to effectively use commands and utilities, to manage processes and user accounts, to use system editors to write and execute script files, and to install and customize applications on a computer according to user needs and technological changes.
