This is an introductory course to
dental anatomy and dental health maintenance. A complete professional dental cleaning/treatment and polishing will be taught on cadavers and anesthetized
animals, with emphasis on home-care and early detection of periodontal disease states. This
course will also cover nursing and anesthesia skills, as developed in
earlier courses.
